1921 - The Mikado

For the inaugural production the Society chose Mikado - a show that some members of the audience would have remembered from its opening less than 40 years before.

Musical Director: Mr. H. G. E. Pocock

The Society is fortunate to have access to a copy of the original show programme, the cover of which is shown at right. Click on the photo or here for more pictures from the programme, which comes from the collection of Mrs. Molly Raison.

By kind permission of Lyme Regis Museum a photograph from the album of Miss Sybil Foxwell (who played Peep-Bo in the production) can be seen here

A newspaper report of the first performance has also survived and can be found here.
